City of Calgary, Alberta to implement system innovators' iNovah Enterprise Revenue Management (ERM) solution to centralize cashiering
The City of Calgary joins the Western Cities of Edmonton and Winnipeg in selecting system innovators' iNovah ERM, providing a one-stop-shop cashiering and enterprise revenue management solution
CALGARY, AB -- System Innovators (SI), a division of N. Harris Computer Corporation, is pleased to announce that Canada's third largest city and the largest city within the Province of Alberta, the City of Calgary, has selected SI's iNovah ERM Solution. This centralized cashiering revenue software modernizes multiple existing legacy cashiering solutions to consolidate over 90,000 annual payment transactions from customers while eliminating the need to manage such transactions within the City's Corporate Cashiering Section, Transit, Building Inspections and Development Permits Unit.
With a growing population of 1.2 million, the City of Calgary required a corporate cashiering solution that accepted face-to-face payments from customers while additionally handling multiple tender types. After a competitive RFP procurement process, the City of Calgary selected SI's iNovah ERM as the optimal system for the size and scope of the project. Implementing iNovah will serve to reduce staffing time spent on manual payment processes and allow employees to manage, control, report, and audit payment collections from anywhere in real-time.
System Innovators has over 35 years of experience providing quality cashiering solutions to governments throughout the United States and Canada. iNovah centralizes and consolidates multiple cashiering and collection components within source systems into one revenue collection interface hub. iNovah is compatible to connect across multiple payment channels including web, phone or kiosk and provides automatic revenue distribution to general ledger accounts for financial systems.
"System Innovators is pleased to provide the City of Calgary with a proven, secure cashiering solution that will allow the City to deliver convenient payment options for its citizens as well as realize efficient payment management into the future," said Jeff Sumner, executive vice president, System Innovators. "We anticipate a long-term partnership that includes our experienced resources, market knowledge, strategic vision and a community of similar government customers."
