BancTec expands processing capacity
DALLAS--BancTec, a global leader in business process outsourcing (BPO) and financial transaction automation, today announced its new processing facility in El Paso. The location has become a significant hub for BancTec’s growing healthcare operations — keying medical and dental claims, correspondence, and various types of attachments.
BancTec moved to expand its El Paso operations after its previous facility reached capacity. The new facility will allow BancTec to triple its employee base in the area. The new processing center is capable of operating 24/7, with employees working across three shifts
Sherry Schmidt, Director of Business Operations for BancTec, says that the company has already hired 32 new employees at the El Paso location this year and expects to hire at least that many next year. “Our new facility leverages every square foot as useable space,” said Schmidt. “With the room for expansion, we are using our new capabilities to bring additional healthcare and insurance front-end process management work to El Paso.”
The new facility is connected to BancTec’s secure BPO hub and spoke network, enabling remote-in access for a greater variety BPO work. The facility is located at 3821 Constitution Drive in the growing business area of Sunland Park.
