Absolute Software recognized for client management tools

Vancouver, BC –  Absolute Software Corporation, supplier of endpoint security and management solutions for computers, laptops, tablets, and smartphones, was recognized in the Gartner, Inc. ‘2014 Critical Capabilities for Client Management Tools Report’ for its Absolute Manage software.

The solution received 4.7 out of 5 for cross-platform support and 4.4 out of 5 for administration and usage out of the 14 vendors reviewed. Of the four use cases named in the report, Absolute Manage tied for the highest product score in the resource and expertise-constrained use case, 3.7 out of 5, and was one of three vendors who were rated second-highest vendor in the total client management use case with 3.5 out of 5 out of the 14 vendors reviewed.

Absolute believes the breadth of device coverage continues to be one of the strongest market differentiators for Absolute Manage, says the company. Customers can remotely manage all the devices in their deployments, including PC, Mac, Android, iOS, and Windows Phone devices from within a single management console. IT can replace multiple systems with a single solution so they can easily determine the status of each device, conduct routine IT maintenance, manage enterprise mobility, and securely support the use of employee-owned devices to support user productivity.
